Sports rehabilitation is a process aimed at preparing an athlete who has suffered an injury, so that the injured area is able to return to physical work in a safe and efficient manner.
What is sports rehabilitation?
Sports rehabilitation is the union that exists in the sports field, between physiotherapy and physical preparation. For an athlete to fully recover from an injury, the combination of these professionals is necessary.
Failure to properly treat an injury can mean dragging the problem along for much longer than the time it takes to recover.
For this reason, it is very convenient to know what is the real importance of the readaptation of an injury, so that in this way the sports performance is not affected.

What are your objectives?
Sports rehabilitation has two main objectives:
- The search for intervention strategies that will result in a decrease in the duration of the injury and a safe return to training and/or competition.
- Post-injury work to avoid relapses and prevent possible future injuries, studying the risk areas.

At Bwell Clinic we will advise you and we will follow up your injury so that the healing process is as short as possible with Beatriz Arrillaga, our expert in physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation.
